    Production Engineering Specialist (m/f/d)

    As a Production Development Specialist, you will drive improvements in production of Continuous Gas Analyzers in Measurement & Analytics in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Reporting to the Head of Industrial Engineering your focus will be on introduction of new products in manufacturing and optimizing the manufacturing process through innovation in a cost-effective way.

    Team Lead Industrial Engineering

    Your responsibilities

    • Responsibility in new products introduction (NPI) projects from the manufacturing side
    • Ensuring optimal efficiency in production methods (e.g. lean production), technologies, equipment performance and materials/components
    • Defining the sequence of the production process in line with material and investment budgets
    • Identifying and implementing improvements to the manufacturing process in line with cost, safety and timing requirements
    • Defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources and personnel to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and a skilled, competent team
    • Consulting and working with production operators and supervisors to implement changes on the production line

    Your background

    • Young professional in industrial engineering, working as Production Development Specialist or Project Specialist with electromechanical parts or gas analyzers
    • Demonstrated experience working on a production line. (Supervisory experience is an advantage.)
    • Knowledge of SAP, MS Office, Lean Methods and project management skills are mandatory
    • A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
    • A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
    • A Lean Six Sigma certification will be nice to have
    • Fluency in German and English (spoken and written)
