    Production Manager

    Production Manager will be leading the production in the Induction Machines (Europe) manufacturing unit in Helsinki, Pitäjänmäki with full accountability of running the day-to-day operations as well as creating and implementing plans to establish the factory of the future. You will lead a production with several production lines responsible of supervisors and overall productivity. The Production Manager is also responsible for leading development programs, projects, goals, and metrics to help the organization achieve the highest level of operational performance. You will be a part of the plant management team. We are looking for a manager who is self-motivated, energetic and drives development persistently in a positive way.     Your responsibilities

    • The main task in this role will be to lead the co-workers towards common goals and ensure that we constantly improve internal processes and tools. This will be achieved by your engaging leadership style that inspires a safe, positive and efficient work environment
    • Full responsibility for the production and leading a team of several supervisors and production lines
    • Ensuring the health and safety, delivery performance, quality and cost efficiency of the production
    • Developing the production and increasing the level of automation and digitalization as well as reducing our environmental impact

    Your background

    • Several years of experience from a managerial position preferably within production in engineer to order (ETO)
    • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
    • The ability to motivate and engage other people, and the skills required to make strategic decisions and run the daily operations
    • Knowledge and practical experience of Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma, 5S and automation
    • Experience in managing standardized manufacturing is a benefit as well as labour union agreements knowledge
    • Fluency in Finnish and English is mandatory
    • M.Sc or B.Sc degree in Engineering or other academic degree in a relevant field
