    Production Scheduler

    In this position, you will have a key role in the Electrification Services (ELSE) The Electrification Service (ELSE) Production Planner role is located in Mebane, North Carolina. This role supports ELSE orders and projects within the factory from order entry all the way to shipment, working closely with cross functional team members to achieve business goals and ensure customer satisfaction.

    Your responsibilities

    • Create and maintain detailed production schedules
    • Establish sequence and lead time of relevant operations in the schedule
    • Create and release manufacturing work orders
    • React daily to MRP in order to manage production and meet on time delivery
    • Initiate picking process for timely delivery of materials to the production line
    • Monitor inventory. Work with Procurement, Materials Management and Operations to optimize material availability and resolve any issues that may affect the schedule
    • Track job progress and insure correct flow of information
    • Make any necessary adjustments or corrections to the schedule
    • Identify problems and assist with improvement actions
    • Participate in and/or run daily/weekly meetings

    Your background

    • High School Diploma and minimum 3 years experience in a Manufacturing environment
    • Must be familiar and have practical experience with SAP and other applicable software
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Must be self motivated with a high level of engagement
    • Adept problem solving skills
    • Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and work teams
    • Experience in dealing with the cultural diversity of a global business environment
    • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
