Production Supervisor

Lead a team within a production unit or line in the execution of production processes to transform parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely, cost-effective manner. Ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, and quality and safety standards and policies.

This position reports to

Production Manager

Your responsibilities

• Leading capacity planning and resource optimization for the ELSP (HUB Americas).
• Identifying deficiencies in production, proposing improvements, and overseeing their implementation.
• Identifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements.
• Working with HR Management to ensure that the ESLP (HUB Americas) is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
• Guiding, motivating, and developing less experienced team members to reach their potential.

Your background

• Bachelor´s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related.
• 2 years of experience in similar position.
• 5 years managing people.
• Knowledge of Metal transformation equipment - Production indicators.
• Lean Manufacturing.
• Basic - intermediate level of English.
