    Project Engineer

    You will be working as Project Engineer and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Process Industries Division based in Bangalore; India. In this role you will be reporting to Senior Engineering Manager. You will be primarily responsible to design, develop & deliver assigned projects in time and to provide technical service / support to customers.

    Your responsibilities

    • Optimizing engineering of project within the agreed schedule and understanding the local mining regulations requirements
    • Design engineering as per mining safety and customer approvals
    • Preparing list of deliverables, technical specifications, application software and necessary graphics
    • Conducting factory acceptance test & delivering as built and as commissioned documents
    • Ensuring the quality of engineering deliverable & capturing customer complaints and timely solution
    • Updating reusable solutions, work-around and problems handled into database
    • Following safety norms and ensuring safe working environment
    • Certifying the product safety from local mining regulations authority

    Your background

    • BE / B.Tech from a reputed university with first class in Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation engineering
    • Minimum 5-10 years of relevant work experience in DCS/ PLC Automation & electrical drives by similar suppliers in mining & material handling Industry or any motion machine control applications
    • Experience in engineering/ commissioning/ trouble shooting/ servicing automation & drive systems preferably in mine hoist, winches, mine loading systems, material handling machines
    • Knowledge of ABB automation systems like 800xA, compact products, AC800M controllers and AC500 PLC, ABB ACS800 multi drive, standalone drives, DCS800 & ACS6000 would be added advantage
    • Knowledge in application programming & HMI development/ modifications for PLC/ DCS systems
