    We are looking for ''PROJECT ENGINEER'' who will be able to demonstrate knowledge in ABB in Process Automation, Local Division Energy Industries in Istanbul location with below qualifications.

    Your responsibilities

    • Be responsible for Engineering, Commissioning and start-up of control systems in Power Generation, Water, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refineries and Chemical plants.
    • Participating in industrial digital solutions projects as part of ABB’s global digital teams; including data collection, data analysis and process optimization.
    • Participating in design, installation and management of cybersecurity solutions.
    • Have a high level and up to date technical know-how of ABB control systems technologies, solutions and architectures.
    • Perform following engineering activities on the projects:
    • Design, installation, implementation and documentation of automation systems,
    • Testing of system hardware and software application,
    • Commissioning on Customer site,
    • Troubleshooting of control systems.
    • Preparation of engineering documents (system architecture, functional design specification, bill of materials, I/O lists, cable lists, DCS & I/O panel design drawings, etc.).
    • Ensure that activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are efficiently and cost-effectively executed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.
    • Supports Project Managers in issuing claims (new/change in scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications, etc.). Provides quality solutions as per customer requirements and delivers within budget and contract. Ensures adherence to safety standards and mitigation of potential risks.
    • Collaborates with the Supply Chain function to ensure that technical requirements for equipment or services are communicated and agreed on with potential suppliers. Provides technical evaluation of supplier proposals and accepts as fit for purpose supplied equipment or services.

    Your background

    • Engineering Degree in Control, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or similar.
    • Good command of written & spoken of English language.
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in automation systems (DCS, PLC) of engineering, start-up & commissioning activities.
    • Experience in ABB control system & equipment (800xA, Freelance, Symphony Plus Harmony, Symphony Plus Melody, Advant and/or AC500) would be a plus.
    • Experience in Power Generation, Water, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Refineries segments would be a plus.
    • Analytical mind with strong planning and self-learning skills, teamwork oriented.
    • A high level of self-motivation, curiosity. Desire to learn about new technologies.
    • Having a valid driving license & no obstacle for traveling.
