    You will be working as Project Lead and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Engineering Manager and will be responsible for designing authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Completing assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects, cost effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements

    Your responsibilities

    • Attending all project internal & customer meetings, collecting the input documents from marketing/ customer & maintaining it in server, conducting site survey if required for gathering information for detailed Engineering
    • Preparing of Document Control Index (DCI) in line with project schedule, preparing/ review & submission of document to customer as per DCI plan date, preparation of bill of material. Preparation of Functional Design Specification and DATA sheet
    • Reviewing technical offer & providing technical clearance to PM & SCM for components listed in BOM and providing input to hardware team for preparing detailed engg, documents as built documents
    • Coordinating with hardware team for prepare GAD & other documents & review the same before submission. Coordinating with customer for document approval
    • Coordinating commissioning and conducting SAT at the customer’s site. Application Program development as per project requirement (FDS), conducting FAT & closing Punch points before material dispatch and compiling to ABB HSE policy

    Your background

    • Masters or Batchelor in instrumentation or chemical engineering
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in DCS and exposure to ISA88 & ISA95 architecture with mandate application programming using IEC61131 languages
    • Knowledge on 800xA system Data Storage, Back Up & Retrieval Process, FDA & GAMP 5, OPCDA, OPC UA & Webservices is preferable
    • Having deep Knowledge of Pharma Regulatory Guideline such as 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11 & relevant ICH guidelines
    • Having hands on experience on batch process applications e.g.- in biotech, pharma, sp chemicals etc ,sql or oracle data base along with batch reporting knowledge is preferable
    • Knowing pharma documentation such as drafting of validation protocols & compliance reports etc, draft quality standard operating procedures required for daily usage of EBR in pharma
    • Having basic networking which includes L2/L3 Switch, Router, firewall basic configuration Virtualization using VM ware/ Hyper V
