    You will be working as Project Lead Engineer and will be part of Process Automation business for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Technical Authority and will be responsible for working individually or as part of a team contribute to the successful delivery of engineering solutions to time, cost, and quality to ensure the successful execution of projects to the Customers satisfaction. Providing engineering support and expertise as required to other areas of the business to help facilitate their objectives.

    Your responsibilities

    • Reviewing customers' specifications and examine new contracts to ensure thorough understanding and adherence to desired contract terms and conditions. Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on contract performance, and control contract documents. Maintaining a centralized project control process and enforce necessary controls to assure maximum project profitability
    • Following guidelines and established procedures to initiate price change requests, apply mark-ups, prepare quotations, and implement changes, as appropriate. Under direction, resolve disputes involving back charges, escalation, delays, extras, and warranty charges. Report significant problems to project manager for resolution. Preparing releases, waivers of lien and affidavits to allow collection of all payments
    • Reviewing and coordinating flow of information among various groups and customers, and implement measures to resolve routine problems, ensure meeting schedule commitments and achieve customer satisfaction
    • Ability to develop equipment specifications for small and medium-sized projects involving HMI’s, DCS System and Hardware
    • Experienced in Design, configuration, integration, and implementation of process control solutions for Chemical and Specialty Chemical segments
    • Proven knowledge of Software and Hardware design, Commissioning, and test experience with any of the DCS
    • Participating in meetings to provide information on assigned projects and resolve problems

    Your background

    • Bachelors' degree and 7 to 10 years' experience in chemical and Speciality Chemical with automation execution background
    • Knowledge of 800xA, AC800M and Advant Controllers
    • Process knowledge of chemical and Speciality Chemicals Industry
    • Hands-on experience in Application Engineering tool with in any of the DCS. Having 800xA knowledge is an added advantage
    • Hands-on experience in Graphic engineering/development in any of the DCS.
    • Knowledge of the field instrumentation (sensors, transducers, drives related to Pressure, Flow, Temperature, Level etc.…)
    • Should be able to Conduct SAT & FAT of the control systems
    • Working knowledge on interfaces (Profibus, Modbus, OPC, IEC61850, etc.)
    • Good knowledge of network engineering and IT developments (PC handling, Windows applications, PC configurations, virus scanners, interfaces, backup)
