    Project Lead Engineer - Process Automation, Cheonan

    In this position, you will be responsible for technical lead for DCS engineering and commissioning activities in assignments classified as low engineering complexity. Ensure that activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are efficiently and cost-effectively executed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements for Process Automation Business Area in Cheonan, South Korea.

    Associate Project Manager

    Your responsibilities

    • Aiding contract managers with claims related to changes in the project scope, including assessing cost and time impacts, as well as risk quantifications
    • Providing technical details, costs and deliverables for sales proposals, while assisting project managers in technical reviews and discussions with customers and others
    • Creating and delivering work plans, resource requirements, proposals, engineering estimates, and risk and opportunity analyses
    • Resolving complex technical issues both remotely and at customer sites
    • Developing your management and communication skills by coaching entry-level engineers, technicians and support teams
    • Maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by offering dialogue and excellent service at all times
    • Working and networking with engineering colleagues, disseminating best practices
    • Overseeing new subcontracts and assisting the supply chain in managing subcontractors

    Your background

    • Over 3 years of experience in plant, working as project engineer with DCS
    • Sound knowledge of and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, engineering (P&ID convert to DCS graphic, SAMA convert to DCS Logic & Loop), commissioning, and troubleshooting of DCS, HMI, EWS
    • A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following workplace safety guidelines
    • Experience of Sub-vendor management, Documentation (Vendor print), and Customer training.
    • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with strong written and spoken communication skills
    • Ability to travel to domestic frequently/international sites rarely
    • Good in verbal and written English, native Korea
