Project Manager (f/m/d)

Working in the Project Management Team of the Control & Protection Solutions Department in Ratingen, Germany, you will be leading the execution of Fault Current Limiter and Distributed Control System Projects, ensuring that they are executed in line with procedures, specifications, standards requirements, and targets. In this role you will take responsibility for the projects from the order review to the closing review and ensure that customer requirements and all targets are met. You will maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and communication at all stages of the project.

Your responsibilities

• Clarification of the ordered solution, customer’s requirements and expectations to develop with the technical team the project specific solution.
• Define and prepare all project documents (with support of primary, secondary and application engineer), present these documents to customer and ensure customer understands / approves the solution.
• Coordination of all operational activities related to the realization of the project.
• Monitoring and controlling of project progress, resources and financials.
• Identifying, and managing risks, while ensuring that all opportunities are identified and pursued.
• Coordinating with the Procurement and Logistics team to procure required services, materials and equipment.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and acting as a contact point for customer enquiries.

Your background

• Experience as project manager or project engineer in the field of electrical installations.
• Knowledge in medium voltage products, automation and/or control systems.
• Knowledge of SAP usage beneficial.
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills in English and German.
• A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering with focus on electrical engineering or equivalent / higher.
• Interest to work in an international environment with international suppliers and customers.
