We are looking to fill the newly opened position of "Project Planning and Controls Specialist" at ABB Operations Centre Europe in Ostrava. As a Project Planning Specialist you will be in close communication with the Project Manager in the area of project management and execution, you will work daily with the IPM system, speak English with project managers and other colleagues and also be part of a project for our customer in Norway. Your responsibilities

• Working closely with the project team, project manager and controlling
• Responsibility for detailed project planning and control
• Creation of project structure (WBS and activities), resource and time planning, templates update
• Project management in Planisware
• Preparation of reports for monthly closure
• Preparation of financial data and its further processing in ABB internal systems
• Support for comprehensive project control within the IPM system
• Supporting the project team with IPM functions
• Support the project team in problem/error resolution
• Checking and updating master data

Your background

• High school / university degree
• Previous experience in project management/planning
• Experience with project financing
• Good knowledge of planning tools e.g. MS Project, Oracle Primavera P6 or similar tools
• Fluency in English (level B2 and above)
• Ability to work in an international team
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• You are proactive
• Experience with SAP ERP system is an advatage
