Project Specialist - Finance & Accounting Operations

You will be working as Project Specialist - Finance & Accounting Operations and will be reporting to Project Finance Manager and will be a part of Bangalore, India. In this role you will be primarily responsible for coordinating assigned aspects of the project and supports Project Managers in the management and execution of the project and executes work packages as assigned and supervised by a PM/SPM/PD

Your responsibilities

• Coordinating aspects of the project and support Project Managers in the management and execution of the project
• Conducting analysis of plan versus actual project performance under the supervision of the Project Manager or Project Planning & Controls Manager
• Preparing materials for and assists in project reviews. Updates project (cost) adjustments, approved by the Project Manager and Controller
• Assisting in maintaining project plans and other relevant documents like KT plans, recruitment trackers, access trackers, task allocation vs completion etc
• Effectively communicating appropriate information to mostly internal project stakeholders
• Controlling documentation accuracy and consistency, based on tasks assigned by Project Manager or Project Documentation Specialist and procedures agreed with the customer

Your background

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
• 4-5 years of experience in Project Management roles
• Must have good knowledge in at least one of the core F&AO processes (P2P, O2C, R2R)
• Ability to effectively manage multiple simultaneous deliverables
• Strong creative thinking and problem management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle stress
