Project Specialist/Manager

As a Project Specialist/Manager, you will be responsible for leading the execution of small projects with low complexity and ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with company procedures, contract specifications, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, cost/profitability targets, and scheduling targets. Reporting to Sales Manager – Systems, monitoring and controlling project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow. Acting as the key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues.

Your responsibilities

• Monitoring internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones
• Providing performance feedback regarding allocated resources working on projects
• Ensuring compliance to standard ABB internal directives and procedure, relevant cyber security regulations, standards, and contractual requirements
• Ensuring that the project follows execution best practices and ABB policies
• Effectively monitoring and controlling project progress and efficient resource utilization
• Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, and managing project risk, and ensuring that all opportunities are identified and pursued
• Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and acknowledgement by the customer, all in accordance with the contract
• Coordinating with Supply Chain Management and successfully procures required services, materials, and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers
• Supporting Procurement and Logistics in supplier negotiations, claims and project changes

Your background

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical
• 2 – 3 years of project execution experience
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and able to work well under pressure
• Demonstrated excellence in organization and time management skills
• Positive thing with excellent communication skills
