    You will be working as Project Manager and will be the part of Electrification business area for Services division based in Longmeadow, South Africa. In this role you will be reporting to Ninco Lubbe and will be responsible to lead the execution of small projects with low/medium complexity and ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with company procedures, contract specifications, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, cost/profitability targets, and scheduling targets

    Your responsibilities

    • Ensuring that the project follows execution best practices and ABB policies, effectively monitoring and controlling project progress and efficient resource utilization
    • Monitoring and controlling project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow
    • Identifying, qualifying, quantifying and managing risk and ensuring that all opportunities are identified and pursued, capturing, analyzing and sharing lessons learned throughout the project
    • Ensuring that the project is formally closed out, as contractually agreed, driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and its acknowledgement by the customer
    • Effectively communicating appropriate information to mostly internal project stakeholders, acting as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues
    • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicating with all stakeholders
    • Controlling documentation accuracy and consistency, based on tasks assigned by project manager or project documentation specialist and procedures agreed with the customer

    Your background

    • Bachelors Degree in Electrical qualification
    • Proficiency in excel, word, power point and MS projects, experience in MV and LV switchgear
    • Installation and commissioning exposure and attention to detail
    • PM qualification
