    As a QA Automation Engineer, you help ensure the quality of our products by defining and implementing test case automation. You will create, review and execute test plans and extend the test automation – with a focus on cyber-security-relevant functionality – for the My Control System (MCS) platform. MCS is a service-orientated product within the process automation area that enables customers to visualize and analyze control system performance, software, security and lifecycle status. To do this, we combine cyber security-relevant capabilities with the latest technologies to deliver added value for our customers. In this position, you will execute tests on different devices using your knowledge of standard references and testing methodologies, investigating, and resolving critical product issues, optimizing processes, and verifying product compliance. Extending the test automation is one of your key aspects to improve the quality of the MCS platform. As QA Automation Engineer, you will be a member of an agile team based in Kraków or Lódź. Our flexible working model promotes work-life balance and offers options to collaborate with your team in person and remotely in hybrid model. You will be working in a cross-functional team that operates in an international environment. Your team is part of the huge R&D stream which operates using the Scaled Agile Framework and offers a large network of technology experts.

    Your responsibilities

    • Extending our existing test automation by adding integration tests for full end-to-end tests. Usage of .NET testing libraries in combination with Selenium and other frameworks
    • Close collaboration with software testers and developers
    • Creating, reviewing, and implementing test automation plans
    • Performing manual tests during development to figure out how they can be automated. Initially the ratio between manual and automated tests will be 50:50. You are responsible to help drive reduction of manual test effort within the team
    • Helping developers improve the testability of the software
    • Proposing improvements to test techniques based on experience and knowledge of trends and equipment

    Your background

    • Experience in testing and test automation, working in an agile team
    • Bachelor’s degree (Science/Engineering) in Software Domain
    • Sound knowledge of setting up test frameworks and their integration into automated pipelines
    • Experience with Postman, Selenium, NUnit, FluentAssertion, web applications, and Cypress
    • A quality-oriented, collaborative, solution-focused approach with strong written and spoken communication skills
    • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes preferred
