QA Engineer (JavaScript) for Smart Buildings

This position reports to

R&D Group Leader – Smart Buildings

Your responsibilities

• Design, implement and execute automated testing scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Test framework development
• Cooperate with other test team members on test framework development
• Perform all kinds of tests: regression, integration, system tests
• Analyze problems to create error reports using dedicated defect tracking tool
• Participate in test planning, execution and R&D activities
• Close cooperation with developers during analysis of defects, requirements, tests and system aspects

Your background

• University degree in Computer Science, Automatics and Robotics, Electronics or similar
• Very good knowledge of integration testing frameworks and tools; experience in testing of embedded devices; comprehensive knowledge and experience with QA best practices and methodologies
• Good knowledge or firm willingness to strengthen knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript language
• Experience with CI frameworks and source code control tools
• Good Linux and scripting skills
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• ISTQB /equivalent certification; familiarity with Agile development environment will be considered as an advantage
