    Quality Control Specialist

    You will be working as Quality Control Specialist and will be part of Electrification business for Smart Power division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Production Manager and will be responsible for supporting production during start-ups, new employees onboarding and normal production by training indirect and direct staff. Participating in continuous product and process cross training programs.

    Your responsibilities

    • Assessing risks and safety hazards and implement plans to ensure people and equipment safety
    • Supporting customer issue resolution. Interfacing with customer during factory acceptance testing
    • Ensuring conformance with all quality and production requirements
    • Ensuring torque verification and calibration of equipment
    • Working with R&D to validate new hardware and/or software releases in the production test systems
    • Identifying and recommending improvement opportunities, implement projects

    Your background

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering - Electrical/Electronics (mandatory) or related field required with minimum of 5 years quality experience in a manufacturing environment required
    • Prior experience in a supervision role required
    • Prior experience in electrical/mechanical testing, troubleshooting or assembly of electronics preferred
    • Understanding of ISO9001:2015 requirements and familiarity with IEEE standards, UL Requirements , IEC / EN 62040-3 and SAP strongly preferred
    • Prior experience in calibration/test equipment, non-conforming material disposition, layout testing parameters, wire continuity, HiPot and CT Ratios ,power quality analysis are strongly preferred
