You will be working as Quality Control Specialist and will be the part of Electrification business area for Distribution Solutions division based in Cairo, Egypt. In this role you will be reporting to Quality and Operational Excellence Manager and will be responsible to create and lead processes to facilitate the implementation of continuous improvement projects from ideation to a sustainable positive result for the local organization and mastering multiple projects by utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodology and creating transparency to monitor progress. By identifying potential areas of improvements, you will take an active part in the continuous improvement process within the organization

Your responsibilities

• Engaging in production and managerial process KPIs and workflow analysis, to identify action to reduce process complexity and non-value-added activities in order to optimize processes and ensuring stable performance
• Supporting/Managing transformational improvement projects and lead proactively project teams ensuring adherence to time schedule, quality and cost
• Identifying key team members in each function to support projects within the local process industries division and encourage key individuals to develop their skills
• Driving transformational projects with a hands-on and problem-solving approach
• Assisting with the analysis and communication of customer perceptions to guide the local improvement actions toward greater customer satisfaction
• Providing feedback and advises to Production, engineering & R&D on systemic improvement opportunities

Your background

• Bachelor’s Degree in in Electrical Power
• Minimum experience of 3 – 5 years’ experience in quality, quality analysis, root causes report
• Experience as Quality & Testing engineer for MV Measuring Transformers
• Fluency in Arabic, English language is mandatory & French is a bonus
