    Quality Control Specialist

    Working as a Quality Control Specialist, you will be the the support person for various engineering projects in the Process Automation Business in Panama, providing technical details, costs and deliverables for sales proposals. In this role, you will make technical recommendations in various phases of customer projects to ensure successful delivery of project deliverables on time, within budget and in line with quality and safety guidelines.

    Continuous Improvement Manager

    Your responsibilities

    • Manage project documentation with quality requirements (commissioning tests, SAT, among others).
    • Control project documentation from the design and engineering phase to quality closures.
    • Ensure compliance with the quality requirements, defined in the employer requirement.
    • Follow up on non-conformities generated in the project, received from the client and towards suppliers.
    • Assisting project managers and project lead engineers in technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors and vendors.
    • Assisting contract managers with claims, customer specifications and safety standards.
    • Creating and delivering the work plan and budget, as well as risk assessments relevant to your engineering discipline.
    • Helping customers resolve technical issues both remotely and at customer sites.
    • Maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project.

    Your background

    • A bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related fields.
    • 3 or more years of experience in similar positions.
    • Experience in document management and process quality.
    • Knowledge in the electrical area of projects.
    • Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and tools, including SAP.
    • A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
    • A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies.
    • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills.
    • English at basic level.
