Deploy and lead the Quality strategy for a local ABB organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with the aim to achieve and even exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Drive the local quality system through the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solution to problems. Coordinate the efforts of all necessary local functions that impact on the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class level performance. Ensure that the necessary certification requirements are met throughout the organization.

Your responsibilities
- Maintain quality certification in Peru for the electrification business.
- Coordinate together with each of the divisions.
- Bring quality indicators.
- Coordinate both in the country and in the rest of the world, the quality initiatives that are carried out.
- Carry out quality operational activities (infrequent).
- Assisting in implementing internal controls to verify that processes meet requirements, and making sure that control plans are applied and effective in mitigating risks.
- Enabling and coaching employees to evaluate risks, problems and solutions from a customer/stakeholder point of view.
- Utilizing systems and tools to assist the Engineering function with product data and evaluations to ensure that products meet expectations throughout their lifecycle.
- Utilizing Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) to assure effective introduction of new products.
- Helping local teams apply an operational approach and process management system that are continually evaluated for effectiveness.
- Performing audits and using analytics to identify risks, failures and non-conformances, and assisting in applying corrective and preventive action.
- Providing quality training to local teams, enabling them to define and document processes that are efficient and under control.
Your background
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanic Engineering or related.
- 5 years of experience in Quality area.
- Knowledge and management of ISO9000.
- Previous experience in electrification products.
- Knowledge of SAP and Salesforce.
- Intermediate - advanced English level.
