    R&D Certification Engineer (f/m/d) - Measurement Technology

    Support us in the responsible position as Certification Engineer for measurement technology products. Based on your sound electrical engineering education and relevant professional experience, you will be the link between the development teams and certification authorities. After extensive training, you will ensure that our products comply with the relevant standards and directives from concept phase through to product release and that associated certificates are issued and kept up to date.

    R&D Manager

    Your responsibilities

    • Ensure development deliverables are compliant with standards
    • Consultancy of the electronic and mechanical development teams and review of their designs
    • Lead work packages required to achieve or renew external certificates, e.g. explosion protection, marine, etc.
    • Cooperation with the authorities at home and abroad, which are responsible for issuing the certificates
    • Authorization of (special) approvals and product modifications from the point of view of conformity to standards in particular explosion protection
    • Cooperation with sales and product management on customer inquiries regarding explosion protection solutions
    • Regular checks for changes in standards and certificate validity
    • Collaboration in the international team of Certification Engineers of the business unit

    Your background

    • Degree in electrical engineering (with focus on analog/digital circuit design)
    • At least 2 years of experience in relevant work with circuit design
    • Knowledge of circuit design and/or simulation tools
    • Ideally experience with mechatronic tasks
    • Experience with certifications and explosion protection desirable
    • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
