Currently we are looking for an R&D Engineer - Embedded system developer within Embedded Control Software Engineering area to help us maintaining #1 position as global drives player. As a member of Research and Development (R&D) for System Drives team based in Krakow you will be responsible for the design, implementation and validation of embedded control systems for drives with various range of power and most interesting applications worldwide. To succeed in our mission you will need to have deep interest in newest Technology Trends and potentially within Control Theory for Power Electronics / Electrical Drives Technology applications.     This position reports to

    Motion Business R&D Department Manager

    Your responsibilities

    • Requirements analysis and preparation of conceptual solutions for embedded development: Container engine, RTOS integration; SMP, AMP development on a multicore SoC
    • Creation of technical concepts with implementation including user documentation
    • Close collaboration with solution users – cocreation and continued feedback gathering
    • Cooperation with different local/global engineering teams and with application developers

    Your background

    • BSc, MSc degree (PhD is a plus) in Computer Science, Automation, Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
    • Preferably at least 2 years of experience in using C/C++
    • Fluency in written and spoken English
    • Understanding of OS concepts (User-mode vs. kernel-mode, security)
    • Experience with programming embedded systems
