This position reports to

Operations Manager Naval Converter

Your responsibilities

• You will develop complex power electronic products in an interdisciplinary team. The products are inverter and converter for sub-networks and motor drive systems.
• You will be responsible for evolve concepts and specifications for corresponding hardware architecture of electrical components and modules.
• Your engagement will be in the complete life cycle of the products like requirement engineering, technical specifications, design and development activities, requirement verification internally and with the customer as well as provide product documentation and control of the external production.
• You will conduct commissioning and support the fulfilment of required quality for the products. You will consult the customer for their best technical solution and train product users.

Your background

• Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• You have very good expertise in development of power electronics applications.
• You gained already experience in developing concepts, designing and choosing components and doing documentation for complex power electronics products.
• You are able to communicate fluently in English with your team members, customers and sub-suppliers and you are acting as team player.
• When you have gained experience in programming embedded systems in C/C++, designing printed circuit boards in Altium Designer or designing control algorithms for power electronics topologies as well as simulation in MATLAB Simulink and/or LT Spice. would be an advantage.
• Security clearance ü2 is an advantage.
• A pro-active attitude, a systematic and result oriented method of operation complete your profile.
• Willingness to travel (ca. 20%).
