    Working within the Electrification Business Area in Beijing, China, you will be responsible for mechanical design and development of protective products installed in the low-voltage distribution system In this role you will be initiating, evaluating, and implementing innovative mechanical design solutions so as to significantly contribute to technology and product development and project success

    Your responsibilities

    • Being responsible for mechanical design and development for low-voltage protective devices (e.g., Surge Protection Devices, Intelligent SPDs, MCBs, etc.) according to global market requirements
    • Leading mechanical design in NPD projects, and delivering satisfying results on time and within budget
    • Being responsible for Mechanical parts and mechanism design and simulation; 3D models and 2D drawings creation and updating; and materials selection and validation
    • Defining technical/product specifications, technical requirements of parts and components, and verification schemes according to relevant products requirements and standards
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to complete validation of new design/solutions
    • Solving technical problems risen from internal and external customers; Preparing related technical documents

    Your background

    • At least five years’ experience in mechanical design and two years’ experience in project management
    • Experience in low voltage product development and simulation is preferred
    • Sound knowledge in of mechanical engineering; Considerable expertise in mechanical calculation and structural and mechanism analysis
    • Considerable experience in mechanical design and familiarity with the process of metal punching and plastic injection
    • Good knowledge in ProE/CreO and familiarity with PLM operation.
    • Experience in kinematic and dynamic mechanical simulation are preferred
    • Master’s degree, major in mechanical engineering and material related professional
    • Fluent in English (written and oral)
