    R&D Senior Engineer

    As a R&D Senior Engineer for Motion Business Area in Shanghai, China, you will be responsible for participating new product development project, Make FEM simulation and dynamic simulation for motor or generator product aiming at strength verification, structure/function optimization and solving onsite problems.

    R&D Department Lead

    Your responsibilities

    • Being responsible for content of simulation include static calculation, vibration simulation, structure optimization and fatigue analysis, also Noise test and calculation.
    • Being responsible for technical support, problem solving, supporting production unit and service on some vibration, noise problem
    • Writing and reviewing product simulation report and communicate with colleague in China and abroad
    • Writing technical articles and hold training lecture at company level
    • Building up network and cooperation with other ABB company in China and abroad, and cooperating with them on new product development project, and new technology development

    Your background

    • 5 and above years’ experience as FEM engineer
    • Solid knowledge in mechanics, Mechanical vibration, Mechanical design and so on
    • Excellent knowledge of FEA theory
    • Excellent in one of the listed fields: FEM, vibration, rotor dynamics, Noise, heat transfer theory, CFD
    • Proficient with more than one of the listed tools: office365, ANSYS, LMS
    • A Master’s degree or above, major in mechanics dynamics, mechanical engineering and related
    • Fluent in written, reading and oral English
