    R&D Senior Engineer

    As an R&D Senior Engineer for Electrification Business Area in Shanghai, China, you will be responsible for MV Cable Accessory Product Design with clear IP strategy and risk management.

    This position reports to

    R&D Team Lead

    Your responsibilities

    • Conducting design during the development process
    • Being responsible for verification of the design by prototypes or simulations
    • Using Gate Model as a tool to manage project cost, lead time and quality
    • Coordinating with cross function teams to achieve key deliverables
    • Being responsible for MV Cable Accessory Technology Development
    • Ensuring good view on the technology trend that impacts new product development and maintaining ABB product and technology in a leading position
    • Ensuring good Technology development to maintain ABB product and technology in a leading position

    Your background

    • 5 years’ experience in rubber product design. The development experience of MV Cable Accessory products is preferred.
    • Available to short-long term assignment overseas
    • Knowledge of international standards
    • Sufficient Pro-E and Windchill Skill
    • Experience and ability in creating design specifications for moulded products
    • Good knowledge in production and manufacturing processes
    • Desirable
    • Ability to communicate in English, both written and oral
