    As a R&D Senior Engineer for Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China, you will be responsible for leading one of agile team to design, develop and maintain base platform of robot controller software products, including firmware, OSAL, drivers, sensing and middle layers.

    R&D Team Lead

    Your responsibilities

    • Working as SAFe product owner and technical lead of one SW agile team responsible to deliver team backlog through SAFe and DevOps process. (more detail see https://www.scaledagileframework.com/product-owner/)
    • Developing software according to ABB SW quality standards
    • Delivering necessary documentation and share knowledge cross teams and sites
    • Guiding junior engineers and review work of team members
    • Supporting automated system test, production test and customer issues

    Your background

    • A MS in CS, EE, Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics or equivalent degree with necessary expertise in the mentioned areas
    • 7+ years’ experience in software or firmware development with expertise skills in C/C++ and Linux OS
    • Experience as technical lead, product owner or scrum master in Agile team
    • Familiar with SAFe, DevOps process and sound knowledge in python, FPGA is a plus
    • Effective communication skill in English
    • Ability of problem solving, time management and teamwork skills
    • Positive attitude to work, engagement in the tasks and a strong result-orientation
