    At Corporate Technology Center in Kraków we create innovative solutions, implemented in ABB products and systems. It is a unique opportunity for you to join interdisciplinary scientific teams and international projects where expertise, curiosity and innovation are valued. As a R&D Test Engineer Intern, you will contribute to the quality of Smart Buildings software products thorough test stand development, testing solutions, modules, and functions produced by the software development teams.

    Your responsibilities

    • Test stands development and maintenance - test setups design, equipment assembly, documentation maintenance;
    • Planning and development of automates tests in Python (possibility to learn during internship);
    • Code maintenance and documentation;
    • Execution of manual tests.

    Your background

    • Student of 3rd or 4th year;
    • Knowledge of electrics and electronics;
    • Knowledge of Python;
    • Knowledge of GIT;
    • Knowledge of Linux on user level;
    • Good written and spoken English;
    • Minimum availability 20h/week.
    • SEP certificate up to 1kV is nice to have;
    • Knowledge of py.test and Selenium is nice to have;
    • Knowledge of CAD design tool is nice to have;
    • Knowledge of embedded systems is nice to have;
    • Knowledge of Linux for embedded systems is nice to have;
    • Knowledge of Docker and Continuous Integration is nice to have;
    • Knowledge of communication protocols like TCP/IP, SNMP, Modbus TCP/RTU is nice to have.
