    We are looking for a Testing & Laboratory specialist who will join the context of Experimental Laboratory of Research and Development Department following the develop and managing the validation process on different Low Voltage devices. The selected candidate will perform mechanical and electrical tests on low voltage electrical devices based on standards and specifications. This activity in research and development of new products should be done with special attention and analysis capabilities in order to bring a constructive and active contribution to the development of products. The test results will be reported concisely in a test document.

    Your responsibilities

    • Define the details, the test sequences, their methods of execution or testing procedures, the equipment and instrumentation to be used, with reference to the applicable standards, prepare the necessary test set-up, the required measure instruments, connect the device under test on the testing plant and execute tests
    • Analyze the tests results according to the applicable standard for checking the compliance of the product tested.
    • Produce and develop activities required for the processing of test reports for tested equipment and issue the reports
    • Define the details, the test sequences, their methods of execution or testing procedures, the equipment and instrumentation to be used, with reference to the applicable standards and execute tests
    • Manage activities to get the product certifications
    • Analyze the tests results according to the applicable standard for checking the compliance of the product tested
    • Produce and develop activities required for the processing of test reports for tested equipment and issue the reports
    • Propose improvements in the existing test techniques, based on experience and use of new equipment, for test and measurement equipment
    • Assist and support customer during testing activities

    Your background

    • Diploma in an Electrical or Electronic or Mechanical field
    • Basic knowledge of electrical engineering, basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical measuring instruments
    • Good manual skills, good writings skills. Analysis capacity and interpretation of results, ability to communicate and to work in teams
    • Good computer skills (programming knowledge and office software package)
    • Good Knowledge of English
    • Person careful, precise, and tidy with a high desire to learn and attitude for problem solving. Good skill to initiative
