R&D -UI/UX Designer

You will be working as R&D -UI/UX Designer and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Process Industries Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to R&D Principal Engineer and will be responsible for contributing significantly to achieve successful project results in technology, software, product and/or solution development as well as associated IP by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions. Uses unique technical knowledge to oversee development tasks. Acting as the first line contact in R&D/SW development/product engineering for the specific product related issues and maintenance

Your responsibilities

• Collaborating with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
• Practicing user centered design in all stages starting with sketches and wireframes to high fidelity mockups and digital prototypes and executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
• Communicating with engineering teams as designs are implemented to ensure products meet the usability standards. Analyzing, resolving and tracking defects to closure
• Presenting the user-interface visually so that information is easy to read, easy to understand and easy to find. Generating clear ideas, user flows, concepts and designs of creative assets from beginning to end
• Working collaboratively with other designers to ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception and user-experience
• Translating client business requirements, user needs, technical requirements into designs that are visually enticing, easy to use, and emotionally engaging
• Staying up to date with design application changes and industry developments, presenting work with confidence and make self-driven design decisions incorporating best practices

Your background

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in EE/computer science engineering
• Minimum 5 -10 years of experience in UI and UX design skills wireframes design with Figma, Adobe XD, HTML and CSS, Web development with Angular or React, Java script, ASP.Net
• Having solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps with proficiency in Figma, Invision, Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator or any Visual design and Wire-framing tools
• Having strong knowledge about Apple's Human Interface and Material Design guidelines with excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders and solve problems creatively and effectively
• Building apps that respond to the natural human thought process and be Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
