The R2R CoE consists of control related roles as well as accounting expert roles within R2R processes; primarily role of the CoE is to ensure R2R Controls and Policy adherence for respective R2R areas operated from Global Hub. As R2R CoE Expert you will be an Expert/SME within R2R CoE team and Global R2R Hub including support in complex R2R accounting and operational challenges and issues, being “go to” person within a department or function for questions and problems for the related area of expertise.

Your responsibilities

  • Acting as a control and compliance expert within R2R accounting process performed globally and ensuring compliance with ABB policy
  • Being a point of contact for business stakeholders in relation to R2R processes
  • Supporting Global Hub and business dealing with complex R2R accounting and operational challenges and issues
  • Working on process improvements and automations, aligning with the Global Hub (Continuous improvement)
  • Acting as the “go to” person within a department or function for questions and problems for the related area of expertise
  • Providing input to stakeholders and IT project managers to help develop project requirements and goals from the Finance and Accounting Perspective
  • Serving a SME role in technical projects: recommending process best practices for the solution, making sure proposed solution adheres to the ABB Policy and legal regulations and supporting in solution testing
  • Ensuring preventive measures based on root cause analysis in order to avoid reoccurrence of issues in future

Your background

  • Graduate degree in Finance, Business Management, Economics or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of operational experience in R2R
  • Knowledge of E2E R2R processes
  • Working knowledge of SOX Controls
  • Practical knowledge of change management and continues improvement methodology as per Lean Six Sigma
  • Knowledge of major technological platforms and tools like Celonis, etc.
  • Ability to identify risks and guide team to implement the mitigation solution
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver on multiple tracks/projects
  • Good ability to identify root causes of issues and get them solved in a collaborative manner
