Rail Solution Segment & Execution Manager (m/f/d)

In this role, you will oversee Rail Solutions projects within the Packaging and Solutions / Distribution Solutions / Electrification in Ratingen / Germany, providing clear guidelines, tasks and milestones, while motivating and providing feedback In this role, you will maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring that customer requirements and all targets are met, providing excellent service at every stage of the project as well as involve yourself in sales and business development of rail business within ABB.

LPG Manager Packaging and Solutions

Your responsibilities

• Managing the development of project planning documents.
• Analyzing and addressing project risks, and regularly disseminating lessons learned.
• Working with other functions to coordinate contract negotiations and claims with customers.
• Achieving project deliverables and compliance with contract requirements.
• Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Supporting and close collaboration with Sales in project acquisition and execution.
• Business development of rail business.

Your background

• At least 5 years of experience in Project Management or a similar role in Rail business, preferably with Sales orientation.
• Demonstrated experience in management of project scope, cost, schedules and vendors/subcontractors.
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills.
• A degree in electrical engineering, railroad engineering or comparable.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
