    Regional Sales Manager - Transit & Fleet

    This position is responsible for sales of E-Mobility Products and Solutions for the Canadian Transit & Fleet market in the region. The candidate will manage transit and fleet customers and OEM’s accross Canada and develop new customers/business in the region. The candidate will help create market demand, build long term customer relationships and manage resolutions to specific customer needs and issues. The candidate will identify and develop sales opportunities in conjunction with the E-Mobility transit & fleet team and our local partners. The candidate is responsible to sell the complete system, product and service support. The sales specialist will report to the Director of Sales, Transit & Fleet of ABB E-Mobility Canada.

    Your responsibilities

    • Develop sales strategy for the region working with transit E-Mobility team
    • Meet and exceed sales targets.
    • Opens, prospects and closes projects: Creates added value for the customer and ABB ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques.
    • Establishing and maintaining effective customers relationships to understand customer’s needs.
    • Supports installed base of E-Mobility products and systems in collaboration with the service group.
    • Support the creation of and development of marketing programs with help of marketing department: proactive marketing of E-Mobility Products and Systems and participation to trade shows and industry agencies is part of the role.
    • Supports engineering consultants to ensure E-Mobility solutions are specified in projects

    Your background

    • B. Eng, Electrical or any relevant discipline
    • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in technical selling sales
    • Experience in Electric Vehicle Infrastructure market an asset.
    • Technical understanding of the EV Vehicles (Car & E-Bus) and Power Electronics
    • Experience in selling or commissioning of EV Systems an asset
    • Experience in turnkey projects an asset
    • Contract & Business Law understanding
    • Sales process Master
    • Able to create business plans and execute
    • See other opportunities in business growth
    • Passion for the product and highly energetic
    • Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills
    • Enjoys and is Very comfortable in Presenting
    • Strong business acumen
    • Proficient with Microsoft office product & SalesForce.com (Not Mandatory but preferred)
    • Strategic thinker and problem solver
    • Strong adaptability to change
    • Motivated, self-starter, able to work independently
    • Thought leadership and influencer skills to be able to eventually participate to committees/panel discussions
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Travel required across Canada 30%-50%
    • Valid Drivers License
    • Valid Canadian Passport
