    Qualifications for the role

    • Graduate or post-graduate degree in physics, physical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field with a specialization in space applications.
    • Expertise in MATLAB and Python programming, with experience in validating and deploying algorithms in a space production environment.
    • Familiarity with code development and management tools (e.g., Git, Jira), and experience with machine learning is an asset.
    • Knowledge of mathematical modeling of physical measurement systems (e.g., optical instrumentation, radar, LIDAR, spectrometers) and their calibration methods for space applications.
    • Experience in solving multivariate nonlinear optimization problems.
    • At least 5 years of experience as a technical manager of algorithm applications in product development projects, preferably in the space sector.
