    Position summary

    mers. The successful candidate for this role will have a passion for helping people, a love of continuous learning and experience in providing Engineering Technical Support to all our Internal/External Customers.
    Your responsibilities

    • Trilingual Engineering Support (Spanish, English and Portuguese) for the ABB Global Robotics Division (Customers, Partners, Internal Teams) via Email, Chat and/or Phone.

    • Monitor the Connected Services Portal and Follow up with Customer.

    • Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (Dispatch, Application Engineer, or Robot Factory) and provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.

    • Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time.

    • Follow up with clients to ensure their Robotics systems are fully functional after troubleshooting.

    • Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals (OneNote) and actively and continuously update technical skills. (Welding, Paint, MH, Vision, PM, etc).

    • Dynamic position as technical support engineer to perform field service and application engineering assistance as required, growing technical and support knowledge.

    • Verification and Validation of latest Robot Software's (Robot Studio, RobotWare, PowerPacks).

    Your background

    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Electric engineering or related.

    • Fluent English, Fluent Spanish and Intermediate Portuguese.

    • +2 years of experience in Help Desk or Robotics Field Service Engineer role.

    • Experience in interpretation of electrical diagrams and industrial networks.

    • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues.

    • Experience working at a technical level with robots (programming, configuration, etc.) and Industrial Communication Protocols.

    • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software (Sales Force) and SAP is a plus.

    • Teamwork, Adaptability, Handles stressful situations appropriately.

    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

    • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal.
