    Sales and Business Development Manager - Hydrogen

    The Sales and Business Development Manager - Hydrogen, will acts as divisional representative when addressing customers and other stakeholders for Hydrogen segment globally within the Motion Business Area in New Berlin, Wisconsin. Drive geographic coverage growth and channel penetration and support implementation of the PG strategy and actions in the region. Lead customer collaboration initiatives across the regions to support profitable growth for the Product Group. Responsible for sales of hydrogen offerings in accordance with strategy. Build long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identify and develop sales opportunities.

    Your responsibilities

    • Hunt and develop new customers to generate growth. Identify and drive the development of new opportunities and ensures know- how sharing and cross-collaboration
    • Establish and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensures consistent positive customer experience
    • Implement the Product Group strategy and ensures business development and sales growth globally by maximizing geographic coverage and channel penetration. Focus on achievement of order intake, EBITA margin %, operating cash flow, Net Promoter Score (NPS)
    • Prepare offers in coordination with sales support team. Ensure appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices, delivery time, payments, and trading conditions
    • Drive sales efficiency and effectiveness. Support collection and project management activities when needed. Leads local Logistics to deliver according to customer expectations
    • Implement and ensure compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies and processes related to operations/project execution and shares functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization. Ensure the accuracy of the financial statement reported
    • Implement customer focused collaboration, raises awareness, and ensures appropriate action towards market opportunities in conjunction with other ABB units
    • Be the voice of the customer internally, proactively raise awareness and ensures proper action towards product quality improvement

    Your background

    • Bachelor degree and 8 years of sales and/ or business development manager with drives or rectifier technology in the B2B industrial and/ or renewable market OR Associate degree and 10 years of sales and/or business development manager with drives or rectifier technology in the B2B industrial and/or renewable market OR High School Diploma/ GED and 12 years of sales and/or business development manager with drives or rectifier technology in the B2B industrial and/or renewable market required
    • Experience in business development, account management and cross-selling as well as an understanding of contract negotiations, risk management, and commercial and legal terms required
    • Travel up to 50%
    • Prior experience in a start-up/scale-up environment, ability to navigate in a dynamically changing environment, flexible with creative thinking is highly preferred
    • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
