    Position summary

    n, Auckland.. Main segments are Water, Wastewater, Chemicals, Oil & Gas, Power, Pulp & Paper, Mining & Minerals Processing, Food & Beverage You will be mainly accountable for: • dentifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market. • Selling products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Units/Product Groups. • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process. • Creates added value for the customer and ABB and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques. Communicates details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions). • Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.
    Qualifications for the role

    • You thrive in an independent work environment and enjoy the challenge of driving growth.
    • Ability to demonstrate your experience in Application based solutions of industrial analytical instrumentation in water, gas, and emissions analysis.
    • Possess an enhanced knowledge of Application based solutions. Have an understanding of industrial measurement instrumentation such as, Flow, Pressure, Level, Temperature.
    • You are passionate about people and enjoys building rapport with customers.
    • Degree in Industrial Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering
    • Have a demonstrated track record in customer-facing industrial equipment sales track record, preferably 5 years and over.
    • Experience in key account management and new business development, preferably 5 years and over.
    • You are at ease communicating in English. You're an effective all-round communicator with a global and collaborative mindset. Confident with presenting product demonstrations.
