    Join us as Sales & Applications Engineer you will be responsible for carrying out sales of Measurement & Analytics Instrumentation products, systems, and services across Lower North Island and whole of South Island to maximize the volume and profitability. This role also involves assisting in sourcing new leads that creates new business opportunities within process sectors, namely Water, Wastewater market; supported by other segments such as Chemicals, Oil & Gas, Power, Min-ing & Minerals Processing and Food & Beverage. Reporting direct to National Sales Manager based in Grafton, Auckland you will be able to use your process instrumentation experience in sales or service to promote our industrial measurement instrumentation services and products, such as Flow, Pressure, Level, Temperature. And industrial analytical instrumentation in water, gas, and emissions analysis. Ideally, you already have existing relations in Water & Wastewater Industry. This role requires frequent out of town travel. We are open to candidates being based in Auckland or in mid-North Island or South Island as a formal remote worker, with the aim to have them visit the Auckland team every quarter.

    Your responsibilities

    • Selliing products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Unit
    • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs
    • Promoting customer understanding of full prod-uct/systems/ services offering, and align to provide a solution
    • Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know- how sharing and cross-collaboration
    • Preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager
    • Ensuring appropriate technical and finan-cial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions

    Your background

    • Engineering Qualification in Industrial Instrumentation or Electrical will be beneficial
    • Proven customer-facing industrial equipment sales track record
    • Application based solution understanding of industrial measurement instrumentation such as- Flow, Pressure, Level, Temperature
    • Application based solution understanding of industrial analytical instrumentation in water, gas, and emissions analysis
    • Experience in key account management and new business development
    • Adept with using CRM and MS Office and effective all-round communicator with global and collaborative mindset
    • Existing relations in Water & Wastewater Industry and process knowledge will be beneficial
