    Sales Enablement Specialist

    A key role in assisting the sales team, the Sales Enablement Specialist prepares sales proposals for Electrification Business Area. This role will be open to remote candidates. Reporting to the Global Account Manager, this role will work in cooperation with the National Account Management team and align activities with the Supplier Development / Enablement teams at the business partner. This Sales Enablement Specialist will ensure local engagement is developed and teams are aligned to collaborate on joint sales calls, account planning and local growth strategies. This position will assist in creating a strong and effective business partner experience. Primary focus is the United States secondary efforts to support Global sales enablement. This role will be an invaluable part of our mission focusing on reciprocal partnerships with our channel partners, working with their leadership and sales account team to help align and collaborate with our channel partners to create a connected engagement partnership and to help foster a strategic, long term growth plan.

    Your responsibilities

    • Drive local planning activities between Wesco and ABB sales teams
    • Responsible for identifying coverage and alignment gaps, including tops markets missed
    • Ensure Local execution of national marketing programs
    • Responsible for keeping contact information update to date and mapping territories
    • Gathering VOC (Voice of the Customer) to help with the creation of the account plan
    • Provide assistance in meetings, projects and account presentations
    • Delivering effective solutions to the business partner with order related queries by coordinating with internal resources to help resolve the issue
    • Be willing and eager to join special task forces that will advance ABB goals and leadership directives. This role will also be a key member in special assignments related to enhancing and growing our business as assigned by leadership

    Your background

    • Associate’s Degree (Sales, Business, Marketing, or related) and 1 to 3 years experience -or- Bachelor’s Degree (Sales, Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related) -or- Alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments
    • Experience in sales, trends, business analysis preferred
    • General knowledge of the electrical industry, or parallel industry preferred
    • Ability to travel domestically up to 20-30%
    • Must have knowledge and skill in utilization of computer programs, along with desire and aptitude to expand
    • Combination of education and experience demonstrating ability for more complex assignment and/or promotable within the organization
    • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
