    Sales Engineer

    As a Sales Engineer you will implement and execute the defined sales strategy in Hungary in order to improve ABB market penetration and realize growth aspirations in the assigned segment. You will be responsible for achieving both qualitative and quantitative targets in a profitable way: orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction, and will have direct sales responsibility for assigned segment customers.

    Your responsibilities

    • Selling products, systems and services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for the assigned customer base
    • Maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full offering, and align to provide a solution while ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process
    • Preparing sales plans using company tools, performing regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls
    • Supporting leaders in assessing the market trends, customers, competitors, industries, applications and country analyses to identify and realize opportunities with existing and potential new customers within the target segment
    • Creating added value for the customer and ABB and ensuring the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques
    • Communicating details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions)
    • Managing administrative procedures in sales processes, and supporting collection and project management activities when needed
    • Preparing offers, public procurement tenders in coordination with the Sales Support Team, ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions

    Your background

    • BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering
    • Experience in similar position at comparable value chain organization
    • Fluent English and Hungarian
    • Solid knowledge and experience in the field of low and/or medium voltage (equipments and devices)
    • Understanding customer ecosystem and key stakeholder groups in the assigned market
    • Commercial experience, knowledge of general terms and conditions of commercial contracts on assigned market
    • User level knowledge of digital tools (MS applications, CRM systems)
