Sales Engineer

You will be working as Sales Engineer, reporting to Sales Specialist – Product for Electrification business area, Smart Buildings division based in Chennai, India. You will be responsible for achieving order intake and revenue targets and generate new business opportunities

Your responsibilities

• Preparing and sending customer potential list for the assigned region / territory to team leader
• Maintaining relevant data in the defined template and sharing with team leader on regular basis
• Interacting and visiting the customers for new customer development
• Forwarding customer complaints / suggestions to relevant departments for resolution
• Interacting with LBU/ warehouse on a regular basis and supporting for deliverables and product marketing
• Visiting channel partners/ customer to resolve issues and thereby maintaining relationship with channel partners/ customer
• Ensuring that partners maintain sufficient stock to service the customers

Your background

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in electrical engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales
• Good knowledge about low voltage switchgear products
• Good oral and written communication skills
