    Sales Order Processing Manager

    As the Sales Order Processing Manager, your role will be to manage, develop and coach the Drives Service Motion sales support team in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin aiding the sales organization in finding optimal solutions to meet customers’ needs. This position will be accountable for leading a team of sales order processing specialists, responsible for processing and fulfilling customer orders. In addition, the team leader will be an active contributor in several process improvement projects focused on improving our ease of doing business.

    Your responsibilities

    • Responsible for the sales order processing function, ensuring all customer transactions are processed in a timely manner and with a high degree of accuracy
    • Use in-depth knowledge of Salesforce and SAP to provide specialized support to the sales order management team
    • Lead automation and process improvement efforts in sales order processing function
    • Engage with internal process owners and business stakeholders as necessary to understand and improve collaboration between teams
    • Establish regular reports and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for sales order processing function. Review and analyze performance against standards and prepares improvement plans
    • Collaborate with customer service function to provide support on order related issues
    • Analyze open sales order backlog, improving our ability to meet our customers’ requirements and financial objectives

    Your background

    • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant work experience OR an Associates’ degree with 4 years’ of relevant work experience required OR high school diploma/GED and 6 years relevant work experience
    • Experience in customer service and leading people required
    • Must have a good understanding of business processes and associated tools, as well as proper management of opportunity sales cycles
    • Strong experience in SAP sales order processing required
    • Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, and Salesforce case management is preferred
    • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
