    Sales Specialist

    ABB's Distribution Solutions Division provides utility, industrial and commercial customers with safe, smart and sustainable technologies for the distribution of electricity. With ABB AbilityTM enabled digital solutions at its core, our extensive portfolio includes distribution automation products, switching, limiting, measuring and sensing devices, switchgear, modular substation packages, and related services. Mission statement: Responsible for sales of products/systems/services within a designated market in accordance with strategy. Build long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identify and develop sales opportunities. Focus on customer satisfaction, wallet share and profitability.

    Your responsibilities

    • Understand the main drivers in the regional business environment and determine the best opportunities for ABB. Execute the marketing plan, aligning it with the local strategy.
    • Define business targets for assigned territory, considering short, medium and long term goals.
    • Prepare sales plans for the region, aligning the national marketing plan with the local market drivers. Utilize Capture Team strategy for key projects.
    • Work closely with Marketing to implement the marketing plan. Provide input regarding potential product development and sales targets.
    • Collaborate with other ABB divisions, to increase scope and capture more business. Utilize the available tools for collaboration (CRM, CTS, others).
    • Effectively manage the sales pipeline, taking the necessary actions to bring projects to closure. Enter and maintain accurate data into CRM tool.
    • Work with a diverse customer base (Industry, Distributors, Panel Builders, OEMs, Contractors, EPCs).

    Your background

    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college.
    • Minimum five years sales experience in the electrical industry.
    • Strong oral, written communication skills and presentation skills (in English).
    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
    • Knowledge of Medium Voltage / Low Voltage applications (35kV / 25kV / 15kV / 5kV / 600V).
    • Availability for travel.
