    As a Sales Specialist for Motion Business Area in Tokyo, Japan, you will be responsible for penetrating new application and customers (Mining, Construction Machinery, Railway, various applications), get serial orders.

    This position reports to

    LV Drives Product Team Manager

    Your responsibilities

    • Developing new business channels and a workable business scheme
    • Developing LV drives(Inverters) packaging business with new product introduction.
    • Grasping customer needs for LV Drives(Inverters) package and coordinate with the internal application engineer and project execution team, and work with ABB global in technical and commercial discussions
    • Utilizing current knowledge and also expand his/her knowledge in ABB’s drives(Inverters) & motors products and its application
    • Servin as a bridge to improve local Japanese customers and ABB Global factory relations.
    • Developing cross division business model cooperating with other ABB divisions
    • Preparing commercial offers, Contract / Terms and conditions and negotiating with the customer and get the orders
    • Cooperating with the ABB International organization such as factories and/or regional support functions

    Your background

    • A bachelor’s degree is required
    • 8 years’ experience in sales in Channel or OEM development
    • Experience of distributor / 3rd party dealer business, industrial equipment preferred
    • Basic technical understanding of drive(Inverters)and motors
    • Facilitate business issues among different ABB organizations and customers
    • Medium knowledge of products (Drives(Inverters) & Motors)
    • Reasonable business English and native level in Japanese speaking, writing and reading
