For our Marketing, Sales and Product Management team, understanding the full potential of our technology and the trends in our markets is highly rewarding. The Motion business is the global market leader in the field of motors and drives. Our products, solutions and service are widely used to keep the world running and save energy on a daily basis. Customers are at the heart of our services; our distin-guishing capacity in terms of innovation, efficiency and digitization is aimed at generating added value for our customers and partners. In the Benelux, 125 people are part of the Motion team. You will be responsible for the sale in East and West Flanders region of cutting-edge ABB solutions for energy efficiency, Industry 4.0 and expansion of other solu-tions part of the Motion portfolio such as motors and drives. Reporting to the Sales Manager - Motion, you will use your experience and drive to build long-standing customer relationships with Partners, engineering companies, integrators and OEM's, identifying effective solutions for customer needs.

    Your responsibilities

    • Driving sales volume and margin across the Motion portfolio.
    • Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships through excellent service and your knowledge of customer needs and ABB solutions.
    • Contributing to the identification and development of new market opportuni-ties in collaboration with the wider Sales team.
    • Translating market opportunities into appropriate solutions with marketing and other departments.
    • Monitoring customer and market trends.
    • Collaborating with an enthusiastic team that wants to achieve the goals to-gether, helping and supporting each other and using each other's qualities.
    • Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibil-ity for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

    Your background

    • A technical education at bachelor/master level Sound knowledge of electrical drive technology, pumps, fans and cooling automation and IOT or willing to acquire this knowledge in the long run.
    • Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships.
    • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
    • Social and communicative skills and are used to working in a team.
    • Strong commercial insight and a result-oriented attitude with the necessary re-lational skills.
    • A good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing is a must. French language is a plus.
