    Position summary

The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions Division of ABB in the Philippines market. You will be mainly accountable for: • Selling products and solutions to customers, focusing on volume, mix profitability target for assigned business. • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process. • Preparing sales plans using company tools. Performs regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls. • Identifies and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
    Qualifications for the role

    • Tertiary or degree qualifications in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales in a related industry
    • Knowledge and experience in Electrification, especially Medium Voltage is an advantage but not a must
    • Strong understanding market competition and deep knowledge of market intelligence.
    • Understanding of channel partnering and having existing network with key channel partners in the market is an advantage.
    • Able to collaborate within the broader business at a senior level.
    • Strategic planning and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communications and negotiation skills
    • Business minded, results focused and drive for growth.
    • Computer literacy and competent in using SAP (preferable), MS Word, MS Excel and MS Project Salesforce are essential.
