    We are looking to attract an experienced professional with demonstrable expertise in digitalization, the focus being on mining, aluminum and cement. In this role, your primary focus will be on promoting our industrial software portfolio and demonstrate ABB’s position as one most innovating and leading technology companies. You combine specialist technical knowledge with sales skills and will be an important player in our sales team.     Your responsibilities

    • Promote and sell digital solutions to our customers in the mining, aluminum and cement industry
    • Use your expertise to understand the customers’ requirements and incorporate your technical knowledge into your sales approach
    • Collect market intelligence and identify new sales opportunities
    • Draw up proposals and quotations covering all relevant technical, commercial, and legal aspects and tailor them to specific customer requirements
    • Lead the bid clarification and contract negotiation process
    • Prepare and give compelling sales presentations and demonstrations
    • Prepare sales plans, perform regular status reviews, and propose recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls

    Your background

    • Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical field
    • 7+ years of experience driving digital transformation for complex global organizations, ideally in a B2B environment (Process, Energy, software, technology, automation), hands-on experience of the OT / software industry business with focus on digitalization and Industrial Software. Deep understanding of relevant technologies and trends
    • Experience in the industrial software environment; Division-specific industry exposure (industrial automation/advanced software/…) preferred; experience and background in the mining, aluminium & cement industry
    • Fluency in English, both written and spoken; Spanish and/or another language preferred
    • Availability to travel regionally as required
