    Sales Specialist

    You will be accountable for sales of ABB’s Force Measurements product portfolio that consists of tension measurement systems for pulp and paper industry and rolling mill force sensors for metals industry, driving sales volumes and margins. In this role you will use your experience and drive to build enduring customer relationships through excellent service.

    Your responsibilities

    • Developing and increasing sales of BL Force Measurement in assigned territories/customers (Italy, Spain, Portugal, North-Africa and Turkey).
    • Working with marketing and other departments to prepare sales plans and bids, ensuring technical and financial accuracy.
    • Working with the wider sales team to identify and develop new market opportunities.
    • Using your knowledge of customers’ needs and ABB’s solutions to determine effective solutions for customers.
    • Monitoring customer and market trends along with the marketing team to develop effective marketing activities.

    Your background

    • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineer.
    • At least 3 years of experience in Sales.
    • Sound knowledge of mechanical and electrical industrial equipment. A plus would be automation or process control understanding in either the Paper or Metals market.
    • Fluent in English language is mandatory. Spanish or French language skills are a plus.
    • Flexibility in travelling.
    • A proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships.
    • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills.
