    Position summary

    other departments to prepare sales plans and bids, ensuring technical and financial accuracy

    • Working with the wider sales team to identify and develop new market opportunities
    • Using your knowledge of customers’ needs and ABB’s solutions to determine effective solutions for customers
    • Monitoring customer and market trends along with the marketing team to develop effective marketing activities
    • Preparing risk assessments of opportunities, customer meetings, visit reports
    • Performing business trips, presentations and contract negotiations at customer site
    • Monitoring competition and following market trends

    Your background

    • At least 2 years of experience as electrical engineer in sales, operation, or project management
    • Knowledge of material handling process from the mine via conveying to the stockyard would be beneficial
    • Knowledge of control philosophy and drive system
    • A proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships
    • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills
    • A degree in Industrial, Electrical or Automation Engineering
    • German & English fluent
