    Sales Specialist (f/m/d) – Pulp & Paper – Eastern Germany

    In this position, you will be accountable for sales for our P&P portfolio (Automation, Drives and Services) for dedicated accounts in the eastern part of Germany, driving sales volumes and margins. Reporting to the local Head of P&P Sales Germany you will use your experience and drive to build enduring customer relationships through excellent service.

    Your responsibilities

    • Implementing and executing sales strategy
    • Strategic customer development
    • Using your knowledge of customers’ needs and ABB’s solutions to determine effective solutions for customers
    • Working with marketing and other departments to prepare sales plans and bids, ensuring technical and financial accuracy
    • Working with the wider sales team to identify and develop new market opportunities
    • Managing formal technical and commercial offers with clear contract terms
    • Monitoring customer and market trends along with the marketing team to develop effective marketing activities

    Your background

    • Min. 5 years of experience in sales
    • Sound knowledge of process automation / drive technology and their application in the process industries market
    • A proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships
    • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills
    • Self-motivation, curiosity, flexibility and a desire to learn about new technologies
    • A bachelor’s degree or comparable technical education with job experience in field of in automation or electrification
    • German and English: Advanced
